ORIGINAL HOT YOGA 26+

Original Hot Yoga in Torbay is inspired by the classic 26 posture and 2-breathing exercise sequence developed by Bikram Choudhury in the 1970s. This structured approach is designed to work every part of the body, supporting flexibility, strength, and resilience. While the practice has evolved over time, its core remains deeply therapeutic, helping to calm the nervous system, relieve stress, and improve mobility. Its a challenging workout that many students find transformative, not just physically but mentally, as it encourages deeper self awareness. Our brand new studio offers a welcoming space for beginners and intermediates to explore the benefits of hot yoga in a supportive and grounded environment. Classes are kept small to ensure every student has the support they need. It doesn’t matter how old, tired, or stressed you feel, or whether or not you can touch your toes, You can start from scratch anytime. It’s never too late to begin.

YIN YOGA / WARM CANDLELIT

Yin Yoga is a slow, meditative practice that works deep into the body’s connective tissues, like fascia, ligaments, and joints, through long-held, passive poses. Unlike more active styles of yoga, Yin invites stillness, patience and surrender, with postures typically held for three to five minutes.

This practice gently opens the body, calms the mind, and helps release both physical tension and stored emotional stress. It’s a powerful way to access deeper layers of the body and self.

Yin is the perfect complement to hot yoga, supporting flexibility, circulation, and nervous system regulation. It activates the parasympathetic response, encouraging deep rest, recovery, and emotional balance. Especially supportive during times of fatigue, overwhelm, or transition, Yin offers a quiet space to slow down, let go, and reconnect.
